The following Terms and Conditions of Service apply to all products and services provided by Purple Tasche Ltd.

General – All work is carried out by Purple Tasche Ltd on the understanding that ‘The Client’ has agreed to Purple Tasche’s terms and conditions.

– All documents and work produced by the Purple Tasche Ltd remain the property of Purple Tasche Ltd. Who retains all rights to the final product and its designs including all drawings and other preparatory work design upon final. “The Client” will own the second right to the final ‘fully paid’ product.

– If a choice of designs is presented, only one solution is deemed to be given by Purple Tasche Ltd as fulfilling the contract. All other designs remain the property of Purple Tasche Ltd, unless agreed in writing that this arrangement has been changed.

– Purple Tasche Ltd will not hand out any Master Files, these remain the property of Purple Tasche Ltd and will not be released to ‘The Client’. Unless another arrangement has been made by Purple Tasche Ltd and can be chargeable to ‘The Client’.

– Any extra costs that may arise due to the purchasing of stock photos, fonts, or other items/elements will be added to ‘The Clients’ final quote. If it hasn’t already been added by Purple Tasche Ltd.

– Goods and materials are subject to availability at the time the order is placed. Some materials may take time to come in stock and be delivered. We will always keep in contact with ‘The Client’ if this is the case.

– If we have any problems with ‘The Clients’ order, we will contact ‘The Client’ straight away.

– Purple Tasche Ltd reserves the right to change any rates and any of the Terms and Conditions at any time and without prior notice.

Project acceptance – At the time of proposal, Purple Tasche Ltd will provide ‘The Client’ with a written estimate or quotation. The terms and conditions can be read on the Purple Tasche Ltd website.

– ‘The Client’ may send an official order in reply to the estimate or quotation, or an email acknowledging acceptance of the quotation, which binds ‘The Client’ to accept Purple Tasche Ltd terms and conditions.

– No work on a project will commence until acceptance of the quotation has been received by Purple Tasche Ltd and an invoice has been issued to ‘The Client’.

Deposits – Purple Tasche Ltd may require ‘The Client’ to pay a 50% deposit before any work commences, and the deposit is non-refundable. ‘The Client’ will be sent the remaining invoice on completion of work and given 30 days to make payment. Unless another arrangement has been made by Purple Tasche Ltd.

– No final files or materials will be handed over until the remaining balance has been received by Purple Tasche Ltd.

Payment Terms – Payments are due no longer than 30 days after receipt of invoice.

– Please make all remittances payable to Purple Tasche Limited.

– Composite VAT may apply to this invoice and a VAT Breakdown is available on request.

– Unless explicitly agreed prior to commencement of work, payment will be due in full upon completion of the work or services provided.

– Payments may be made by online transfer (BACS) or Direct Debit.

– If no payment is made by ‘The Client’ within 30 days a 10% charge will be added onto the final invoice. Unless another arrangement has been made by Purple Tasche Ltd.

– We will exercise our statutory right to claim interest (at 8% over the Bank of England base rate) and compensation for debt recovery costs under the Late Payment legislation if we are not paid according to our agreed credit terms.

Missing in Action Clients – If ‘The Client’ does not communicate with Purple Tasche for a period of 90 consecutive days during any part of the development process, Purple Tasche will honour its commitment to finish the project, but there will be no refund of any fees.

– There are no refunds on any completed work.

Alteration – ‘The Client’ agrees that changes required over and above the estimated work or required to be carried out after acceptance of the draft design will be liable to a separate charge. ‘The Client’ also agrees that Purple Tasche Ltd holds no responsibility for any amendments made by any third party before or after a design is published.

Cancellation – Cancellation of orders may be made by telephone or by e-mail.

– ‘The Client’ will then be invoiced for all work completed over and above the non-refundable deposit that will have been made at the time of first ordering. The balance of monies due must be paid within 30 days. Unless another arrangement has been made by Purple Tasche Ltd.

Printing Costs – Print expenses will be added on top of any design or creative fees and may vary depending on ‘The Clients’ requirements and quantities.

– ‘The Client’ will be invoiced for the amount and payment must be received by Purple Tasche Ltd within 30 days. Unless another arrangement has been made by Purple Tasche Ltd.

– We will email ‘The Client’ the final design files so you can check them twice and give your approval before we send any files to print.

– We make every effort to display as accurately as possible any colours used in your project. Colours do vary slightly depending on your computer screen, files used (RGB & CMYK) and what printers are used. Colours do vary slightly depending on where the final files get printed.

– Purple Tasche Ltd and its ‘Clients’ agree to comply with printers’ or third party companies terms and conditions.

– Purple Tasche Ltd is not responsible for paying for additional printing expenses if errors are discovered after your approval.

Rights of refusal – Purple Tasche Ltd will not include in its designs, any text, images, or other data, which it deems to be immoral, offensive, obscene, or illegal. All advertising material must conform to all standards laid down by all relevant advertising standards authorities.

– Purple Tasche Ltd also reserves the right to refuse to include submitted material without giving reason.

Project duration – Any indication given by Purple Tasche Ltd of a project’s duration is to be considered by ‘The Client’ to be an estimate. Purple Tasche Ltd cannot be held responsible for any project over-runs, whatever the cause. Estimated project duration should be deemed to be from the date that cleared funds are received by Purple Tasche Ltd.

Copyrights and Licensing – Any design, copywriting, drawing, ideas created for ‘The Client’ by Purple Tasche Ltd is licensed for use by ‘The Client’ and may not be modified, re-used, or re-distributed or sold in any way or form without the express written consent of Purple Tasche Ltd.

– Any artwork, images, or text supplied and/or designed by Purple Tasche Ltd on behalf of ‘The Client’, will remain the property of Purple Tasche Ltd and in accordance with the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.

– By supplying images, text, or any other data to Purple Tasche Ltd, ‘The Client’ grants Purple Tasche Ltd permission to use this material freely in the pursuit of the design.

– Purple Tasche Ltd is not responsible for any loss, or consequential loss, non-delivery of products or services, of whatever cause. ‘The client’ agrees not to hold Purple Tasche Ltd responsible for any such loss or damage. Any claim against Purple Tasche Ltd shall be limited to the relevant fee(s) paid by the client.

– ‘The Client’ may request by email from Purple Tasche Ltd the necessary permission to use materials (for which Purple Tasche Ltd holds the copyright) in forms other than for which it was originally supplied, and Purple Tasche Ltd may, at its discretion, grant this. Such permission must be obtained in writing before it will allow any of the aforesaid artwork, images, text, or other data to be used.

– Purple Tasche Ltd has full right to put any work created by them on their website, social media and any promotional materials at any time during or after completion. Unless another arrangement has been made by Purple Tasche Ltd.

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions and Quotations – The placement of an order for any service offered by Purple Tasche Ltd, by email, verbally or in writing, is deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions, which are freely available at www.purpletasche.com
